Human Tech Collective
Technology that empowers people.
Human Tech Collective is an initiative that supports tech autonomy from a humanistic point of view.
By tech autonomy we mean the ability of individuals and organizations to understand, control and make informed decisions about the technology they use, rather than depending on it blindly.
Core values
Money, organizations (companies, associations, governments), and other constructs we create are tools, originally invented to facilitate human collaboration. But when we engage with them, we often end up treating these tools as goals in themselves.
Many people and organizations fall into dynamics where money, or the survival of the organization, becomes the goal. They forget that these were supposed to be tools for people to work together and improve their lives.
Human Tech Collective exists to promote the idea that technology and organizations should empower people and facilitate collaboration.
